The Mindfulness Academy of Asia Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Community Learning Center, organized the first international workshop in Thailand, "World Mental Health Conference and Retreat 2025." The conference featured world-renowned speakers from Europe, the United States, Asia, and Thailand. The event aimed to encourage everyone to focus on mental healthcare, cultivate mindfulness, meditation, and wisdom for a happy and successful life.

The recent event, held at The American School of Bangkok Green Valley (ASB Green Valley) in Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, was honored by Mr. Siriphong Angkasakulkiat, Assistant Minister of Education; Mr. Chakkraphong Sangmanee, Advisor to the Prime Minister; H.E. Mr. Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand; representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy; and Major General Chatri Chanpitak. Commandant of the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School; Captain Jessada Leuangwong, Deputy Commander of the Naval Special Warfare Training Center; Dr. Lakkhana Disayasarin, founder of The American School of Bangkok;

Associate Professor Police Colonel Dr. Taddao Chomlak, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Royal Police Cadet Academy; Dr. Atirat Jarukitpipat, CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital; Dr. Somkid Udomkitmongkol, Director of Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital; and world-class guest speakers from abroad and Thailand, including Professor Hartanto Gunawan, Director of the Community Learning Center; and Ms. Nisanath Dhammakesirattana, Director of ASB Green Valley and Mindfulness Academy of Asia; Mr. William Villafranco, Board Member of the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Monti Datta, Faculty of Political Science, University of Richmond; Dr. Amber Manning-Quellette, Acting Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Higher Education, along with a delegation from Oklahoma State University, USA; Officer Jimmy Ferrazzo and Detective Luis Lopez from the New York City Police Department (NYPD), USA; along with executives from government agencies, the private sector, educational institutions, and interested parties.

Ms. Nisanath Dhammakesiratana, Director of ASB Green Valley and Director of the Mindfulness Academy of Asia Co., Ltd., and co-chair of the event, revealed that this international workshop is organized with the mission of improving the mental health and well-being of adults and children worldwide. Because mental distress is a constant occurrence, the institute recognizes the importance of addressing these issues and highlighting the importance of caring for the mind in everyday life. This approach utilizes mindfulness practices, which have been used for over a decade to develop wisdom. "Participants will learn how to free their minds from the shackles of memories and perceptions, enabling them to understand reality. We have invited world-renowned Thai and international speakers to give lectures, teach, and lead workshops."

"People often think that living life requires mindfulness. In fact, mindfulness is not enough. We must also have mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom to enable us to make sound decisions without error. Therefore, in this context, we emphasize mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom for completeness. We have previously shared these principles with numerous organizations and agencies, both public and private. This is the first time we will experience a unique Dhamma conversation." To introduce methods for dealing with suffering and sadness, a method to pull the mind out of suffering and transform it to recognize the truth of the situation. It was also the first time we heard a New York police officer, a law enforcement officer, demonstrate Dhamma principles. This was a completely new perspective, never seen before.
